Wooburn Green, United Kingdom Curaa Group Full time

Registered Nurse

Benefits: Refer a Friend (£150/£250), Paid Breaks, Free uniform and DBS

Shifts: NIGHT available.

Who are we:

Curaa is a family-run, community-driven care provider with award-winning homes and a compassionate team that provides person-centred care. Having launched in 2019, Curaa has grown its footprint across the South and Southwest of England and plans to continue on this journey in the future.

If you are a kind, warm and compassionate person and want to have a positive impact on people's lives, then working as a Nurse will be the right role for you.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a current NMC registration, and more than 2 years of experience.

  • Good knowledge of the latest clinical practices.

  • Lead a team of care staff to deliver outstanding care.

  • Use technology to keep accurate documentation and resident records.

  • Ensure medication is ordered, administered and stored following the company procedures and policies and in accordance with current legislation and the NMC/CQC guidelines.

  • Utilise clinical skills to make decisions and take action in a timely manner whilst providing guidance and support to all team members.

  • Create well-thought through care plans and detailed risk assessments, keeping in mind regulatory frameworks.

  • Develop relationships with relatives to help support residents better.

What we are looking for:

Someone who can deliver a level of care that truly comes from the heart, making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in general activities within the Care Home. And, whether you are helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you will always have their well-being in mind above anything else.

Requirements

You will need to be:

  • An NMC Registered Nurse, able to lead a team of care staff.

  • A team player who engages well with others, a strong communicator and influencer.

  • Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment.

  • Capable of demonstrating awareness and understanding of current legislation and guidelines.

  • Passionate about offering superior services and want to make a difference.

  • A glass half full person, with a sense of humour and a positive outlook.

  • Someone flexible - who can work nights and the eventual day - is preferable.

Benefits

We offer:

  • Competitive base salary.

  • Refer a Friend scheme - £250 (Nurses); £150 (all other roles).

  • Enhancements of up to 2x salary for bank holidays. *

  • Enhancements for nights, NVQs and years of service. *

  • Monthly and Quarterly Achievement awards.

  • Free Uniform, DBS & meals.

  • Free video-based and in-house training.

  • Pension contributions through Nest.

  • Variety of shifts and flexibility.

  • Free IELTS training.

  • Free onsite parking.

* Subject to T&Cs of employment.
