Quality Assurance Co-ordinator

Yeovil, United Kingdom Abri Full time

We have recently transformed our Independent Living services to a new operating model. And now we’re excited to be looking for a Quality Assurance Co-ordinator to support colleagues in embedding best practice across our geography and ensuring we’re achieving the highest standards in everything we do

This is a new role, and you’ll be responsible for completing activities from our Quality Assurance Framework to ensure that we’re delivering a consistently brilliant service to customers in our designated schemes for older people. Working closely with our Independent Living Partners and Independent Living Regional Managers, you’ll be out on schemes supporting them to make sure we’re providing the best service to our customers. We know how important a second (or third) pair of eyes can be to spot when things aren’t going as we’d planned and your keen eye for detail, combined with a supportive, understanding, and constructive approach to putting things back on track is what we need. Whilst you’re likely to find yourself travelling across the south to get that in-person experience that can’t be beaten, there will be plenty of opportunities in this role to work remotely from our office sites or from home.

We’re looking for the successful candidate to have excellent communication skills, be flexible and have a proven ability to write concise reports suited to being read at a senior level. A keen eye for detail and a passion for getting things right is key. Ideally, you’ll have a strong understanding of housing related issues or can demonstrate transferable knowledge from another field where you may have completed quality activities and/or auditing. And of course, we need you to feel confident in using a range of IT systems.

You’ll be the only colleague in this role, covering from Bracknell to Chard and everywhere in-between, so you should be comfortable with travel and have access to your own car. You’ll receive plenty of support from a diverse and friendly Business Development and Quality team where we all do something a little bit different.

The normal service hours for Independent Living is 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility offered around these core hours. In exceptional circumstances, if there is a critical and/or major out of hours emergency within the service, the post holder may be contacted to participate in a response.

A DBS check will be required.

Remember, if you’re thinking about applying, be sure to have a chat with your line manager first.
