We are aforward thinking Conveyancing firm who are looking for a LicensedConveyancer / Solicitor to complement our busy team based fromSouth Shields or Teessidebranches.

The successful applicantwill be working within a busy and fast paced environment within asmall friendly team advising on all aspects of the conveyancingprocess with the aid of a case management system. You will beselfmotivated able to prioritise with good attention to detail andable to work well under pressure handling your own case load frominstruction through to completion including dealing with FreeholdRegistered Sale Purchase Transactions and subject to prioragreement Leasehold Transfers of equity and transfers subject toexisting mortgages.

You should bepersonable dynamic with a desire to learn and develop withinproperty. In return we provide ongoing support and offer trainingand development to ensure individual s reach their optimumpotential.

RoleOverview

  • Accountablefor the management of your own case load including filereviews.
  • Provide technical supportto Paralegals when required
  • Managecapacity levels.
  • Provide reports andMI Support to the Head of Legal Practice in accordance withregulatory internal and externalSLAs.
  • Ensure expressions ofdissatisfaction are dealt with appropriately and in within theagreed SLA.
  • Deliver exceptionalCustomerService


Requirements

PositionRequirements

  • Youwill be qualified in the area of practice either as a Solicitor orLicensed Conveyancer
  • A minimum of 3years experience.
  • Excellentcommunication skills and be able to set an example to other membersof the team
  • Able to make independentdecisions relating to your area ofresponsibility
  • Thorough knowledgeand understanding of the CLC Code of Conduct and any othergoverning/regulatory body s rules and regulations e.g. SRA and LandRegistry.
  • Thorough knowledge of therequirements under the UKF
  • ExcellentIT skills and experience using a case managementsystem.
  • High attention to detail andable to prioritise.
  • Work well underpressure within a fast pacedenvironment.
  • Teamplayer
  • Able to motivate drive andinspire others to conduct their bestwork.
  • Able to ensure compliance withthe SLA s of the panel ensuring that communication requirements aremet to clients mortgage brokers and estateagents.
