GSL Education is looking to hire a KS2 Class Teacher to start working for one of our esteemed client schools located in Grays, Chelmsford, beginning in January on a full-time or part-time basis. Are you a passionate educator with a flair for inspiring young learners? We're seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Primary Class Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities of KS2 Class Teacher:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum, fostering a love for learning among students.
  • Differentiated Instruction: Tailor teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged appropriately.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to achieve their best.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that enhance the overall learning experience for students.
  • Parental Engagement: Establish open and effective communication channels with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and opportunities for parental involvement.

Requirements for KS2 Class Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
  • Thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a passion for delivering high-quality education.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive school culture.
