Position: Conveyancing Assistant
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne or Gateshead
Job Description: My client are currently recruiting for a Conveyancing Assistant to support their busy conveyancing team in Newcastle upon Tyne or Gateshead. The successful candidate will assist with various administrative tasks throughout the conveyancing process, including file management, conducting property searches, liaising with clients and third parties, and preparing legal documents. Responsibilities
  • Assist conveyancers with the management of caseloads and administrative tasks throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Prepare and collate legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and forms.
  • Conduct property searches and obtain relevant information from third parties.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and solicitors to gather necessary documentation and information.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
  • Assist with the completion and submission of relevant forms and applications.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding to inquiries and providing updates on case progress.
  • Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team as needed.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
