What you’ll do

We’re recruiting for a Fixed Term Contract role within the Vodafone UK Reward Centre of Excellence, who have just won Team of the Quarter within HR

The Reward Business Partner will be pivotal in the management of Financial Conduct Authority Commission governance and in acting as a Reward business partner to support Vodafone’s business performance and strategy.

The role will involve being a credible subject matter expert in providing specialist advice & guidance to senior stakeholders on a wide range of reward matters and to ensure all Vodafone UK reward and incentive programmes support the creation of a high performing business, whilst being equitable and driving good customer outcomes. The role holder will partner with our Compliance and business teams to ensure remuneration compliance with regulations & future changes and to identify improvements to deliver business outcomes.

• Review and provide advice on proposed variable commission and incentive plans to ensure regulatory compliance - identifying opportunities for improvements in line with business strategy and regulatory requirements
• Responsible for the preparation of all Committee Forum papers and meetings
• Providing guidance to business leaders and HR Business Partners on all matters relating to reward and incentives
• Upskilling HR colleagues and managers on reward and incentives, including regulatory requirements
• Leading the approach to pay positioning and how to attract and retain critical talent
• Managing the successful delivery of specific Reward projects based on the Reward plan, whilst supporting business as usual reward processes
• Grading senior roles using WTW (Willis Tower Watson) methodology 
• This role will not encompass managing direct reports.


Who you are

 

• We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of working within Reward remuneration regulations in an FCA regulated organisation
• Job evaluation experience (preferably Willis Towers Watson global Grading)
• Collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively impact and influence senior level stakeholders and directors, including the confidence to positively challenge
• Possesses effective communication skills to articulate complex information to a varied audience, including writing board papers 
• Demonstrates a strategic approach with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice
• Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
• Knowledge having worked within a regulated Financial Conduct Authority environment and with commissions is preferred, but not essential
• CIPD (or equivalent qualification) in reward management is advantageous
