·  Provide functional and technical architect level expertise in various aspects of OT/ADMS/DERMS/DRMS implementations such as solution architecture, System design, blueprinting and roadmap and gap analysis and system implementation approach.

·  Able to support execution of engagements to assist electric utilities with management of OT (SCADA/ ADMS/ EMS/ GIS/ AMI) system planning, implementation, testing and operation

·  Support business requirements definition, request for proposal development and vendor evaluation

·  Support proposal evaluation, selection process, statement of work development and vendor contract negotiation

·  Support solution design, documentation, planning, implementation, vendor management, testing and acceptance

Key Skills/Knowledge:

Technical Skills:

·  Use relevant utility experience to engage with client utilities to understand their specific applications, approaches and methodologies in Electric Distribution Operational systems

·  Hands on experience on any OEM ADMS & OMS of PowerOn/ eTerra / ABB Network Manager / Oracle NMS / OATI / Schneider / Siemens Grid system.

·  Experience of any programming language (Python, Java, .Net) and any database (SQL, MySQL)

·  Proven knowledge of hardware, software and architecture including market trends and consulting level experience.

·  Understanding on ADMS and DERMS implementation on-Prem or on Cloud (Azure/AWS)

·  Understanding of ADMS / DEMRS system functionalities (Load Forecasting, Demand management, DER resource loading & scheduling, DER Operating Envelop, Network Congestion Management....)

·  Understanding of GIS (Smallworld, ESRI) & Smart AMI metering

·  Knowledge on ADMS functionalities of Fault Management through FLISR/FDIR, Feeder Reconfiguration, Load-shed, Voltage VAR control, Distribution Load flow

·  Experienced resource from Electric Utilities and/or Consulting Entities servicing this area will be preferred

·  IT/OT and security standards (e.g., NERC CIP).

·  Expertise in developing requirements, testing, acceptance and transition

·  Knowledge of and a working familiarity with current standards, and regulations governing power systems

 

Industry Knowledge Capability:

·  Good understanding of electric utility distribution planning, engineering and operations

·  Understanding of electricity generation, distributed generation, energy storage, and the controls associate with each

·  Utilize specialized utility system design and planning knowledge to produce moderately complex work products and solutions across engagements or multiple phases of a more complex engagement

·  Assess effectiveness of client’s use of tools, applications, processes to adapt to new OT applications for solution areas such as DERMS/DRMS/ADMS/OMS/SCADA

·  Apply appropriate methods or recognized equivalent to identified client needs

·  Anticipate and resolve technical problems with occasional technical assistance from others

Experience required:

-  Bachelor’s degree in electrical / electronic or computer engineering or similar technical domain

-  At least 10 years of experience in a business and technical consulting, or relevant engagement implementation services as part of an ADMS / DERMS or SCADA

-  At least 5 years of experience in electricity systems
