The Role & Key Responsibilities
Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Enstone-Chipping Norton, UK
Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week

You will motivate, lead and support an operational team of up to 20 split across 3 shift teams, on a 24/6 production schedule. Placing Health and Safety at the forefront of your priority list, you will be responsible for overseeing our production processes, ensuring the highest standards of safety and feed quality, all while continuously exploring innovative methods to maximise efficiency. Some key responsibilities include:
Working with other functions to understand customer needs and meet expectations. Create and promote high performance culture, empowering the team to take ownership and supporting with development of skills and sharing of knowledge. Manage site stock check processes and carry out investigations of variances. Ownership of production process with Asset value ranging between £5M-£15M. Monitor and maintain KPI’s for production output, safety, and quality. Provide monthly reports and support with internal and external audits. Play an active role in site Continuous Improvement Programme and support with the implementation of capital projects with minimal impact to production.To be successful we are looking for the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with a HSE focus. Ability to motivate, develop and support a high performing production team. Experience of budget management, report generation and data interpretation. Excellent communication skills and ability to form part of a site leadership team working collaboratively with transport, maintenance and commercial teams.We have been making strides to improve the culture and reliability of the site with great success. Location
Our Mill is in a rural location with no access to public transport, therefore ability to access site without the need for public transport will be required.
