HYMH designs, engineers, manufactures, sells, and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster and Yale brand names. We are one of the global leaders in the Material Handling industry and have been building relationships and partnering with our customers, suppliers, dealers, and employees for over 80 years.

The successful Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Engineer will have the following Key Accountabilities:

Provide equipment, tooling, material specifications, manufacturing processes, quality inspection documents, and time standards needed to accurately and safely manufacture / assemble productsProvide support to projects such as capital improvements, New Product Introduction, and other projects Research and development of new manufacturing processes, tooling, and machinery with a focus on automation and improving ergonomicsAble to identify, develop processes and implement solutions to eliminate non value activities in manufacturing processes Provide project management and technical oversight to significant automation investmentsThis role will be a key contributor to the Manufacturing Transformation Program

Essential minimum criteria are as follows:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or Associate’s degree/ HNDMinimum 3--5 Years’ experience in manufacturing (equivalent other relevant experience might also be considered)Experience of new line design/production flowLeadership skills to drive continuous improvement, manage processes, and implement new conceptsKnowledge of lean manufacturing processes and problem solvingAnalytical ability to resolve minor problems and implement permanent corrective actionsExcellent skills in planning/organizing and time management with demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative.

The following criteria are desirable:

 Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, assembly techniques, time studies, automation, PLC, machine logic, torque tooling, and computer applications.

Appointment to a more senior position may be considered, based on qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
