Job Title: Engineering Process Engineer

Join Almac Group Ltd as an Engineering Process Engineer and take on a challenging role that will drive process performance, quality, and reliability in our production environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives within our production and plant areas. As a key member of our plant and equipment team, you will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of Lean and 6 Sigma tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse current operating data to evaluate processes and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Lead improvement projects by defining the scope, generating project plans, determining resource requirements, and monitoring progress to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide coaching and deliver training to build the team's knowledge and capabilities.
  • Become the SME for our core processes, maintaining operating procedures, process flows, and training material.
  • Monitor performance, establishing key performance indicators to ensure processes remain in control.
  • Investigate performance or reliability issues, offering problem-solving support and identifying solutions that are corrective and prevent reoccurrence.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or possession of a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full-time employment in the UK.
  • Educated to degree level in an Engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrate a track record of delivering excellent results and projects in a similar role.
  • Experience of engineering systems and compliance with statutory regulation.
  • Knowledge across a variety of plant and utilities commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry.
