Process Improvement Specialist

About the Role
Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Lead to join our Global Process Improvement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across our EMEA locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy overall quality and improvement techniques and concepts to deliver initiatives, with a strong and clear focus on the Voice of the Customer.
- Manage your assigned project portfolio, serving as a dynamic change agent and facilitator of global business improvement projects.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver sustained improvement across critical processes, supporting leadership in achieving strategic goals.
- Work across functional and organizational boundaries to analyze and solve problems, training and coaching Lean Six Sigma Yellow / Green Belt project teams.
- Develop and coach your assigned coaches from our network of Six Sigma coaches, striving to develop our problem-solving capability across the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 7 – 10 years' experience in a Process Improvement position with experience of change management within a structured framework.
- Experience of project management ideally within a PMO environment utilizing dedicated software such as Smartsheet's or similar.
- Experience leading projects across various business segments and/or leading a process improvement team.
- Strong aptitude and skills to collaborate and influence functional leaders to prioritize and execute selected business improvement projects.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely and to facilitate meetings.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; statistically literate and well equipped with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools.
Desirable
- Coaching certification.
- Black Belt certified with supporting project experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of DFT or TOC concepts.
