Unlock Your Potential Hyster-Yale Material Handling, Inc. (HYMH), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, is seeking an exceptional Process Improvement Lead to join our team based at our Craigavon site in Northern Ireland. This role will require up to 20% travel across our EMEA locations.
As a Process Improvement Lead, you will be part of our Global Process Improvement team, driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our manufacturing systems. You will deploy overall quality and improvement techniques, manage project portfolios, and serve as a dynamic change agent and facilitator of global business improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy overall quality and improvement techniques to deliver initiatives with a strong focus on the Voice of the Customer.
- Manage assigned project portfolios.
- Serve as a dynamic change agent and facilitator of global business improvement projects.
- Deploy strong influencing and refined facilitation skills.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver sustained improvement across critical processes.
- Work across functional and organizational boundaries to analyze and solve problems.
- Train and Coach Lean Six Sigma Yellow / Green Belt project teams.
- Develop and coach assigned coaches from our network of Six Sigma coaches.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience in a Process Improvement position with experience of change management within a structured framework.
- Experience of project management ideally within a PMO environment utilizing dedicated software.
- Experience leading projects across various business segments and/or leading a process improvement team.
- Strong aptitude and skills to collaborate and influence functional leaders to prioritize and execute selected business improvement projects.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely and to facilitate meetings.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; statistically literate and well-equipped with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools.
Desirable:
- Coaching certification.
- Black Belt certified with supporting project experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of DFT or TOC concepts.
