Within the Care in the Home division, we support adults with spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury and complex health needs to live in their own homes.

We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at our clients home based in Oldham.


Meet the Client:


I am 32 years old and have a spinal cord injury. I am interested in cars and computers, particularly the technical aspects of things. I also am into music and movies. Furthermore, I do like being open-minded and having good/also serious conversations with my PAs and having a laugh and a joke from time to time. I have an easy routine and I am an easy going guy. I am looking for a driver as i have multiple vehicles. I have a well-established team of carers that know me very well and they will support you in your journey of working with me.

My hobbies such as going out for drives and visiting new places with amazing views. I'm interested in remote control RC's which I own multiple of them.


When you'll be working:

  • Day shifts, waking night shifts & sleep night shifts available
  • 8am-8pm & 8pm - 8am
  • x2/3 shifts a week
  • 24-36 hours a week

What you'll be doing:

This role is to support our male client with a spinal cord injury in their own home which will involve supporting with personal care, medication, moving and handling and driving his vehicle.

No previous experience required as full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.

You MUST hold a full UK driving license, as successful candidates will be expected to drive the clients cars.
