About the Opportunity:
Tripod Partners is seeking a highly motivated Support Worker to join its Learning Disabilities Team in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with learning disabilities and be able to develop and implement effective support plans.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with learning disabilities to identify their needs and support requirements.
- Develop and implement person-centered support plans to promote independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including health, education, and housing, to ensure a coordinated approach.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work
- Registration with Social Work England
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience working in a learning disabilities team
Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is £30 per hour.
