Goodman Masson is assisting a leading Lloyd's insurer in their search for a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst. This position is based in Central London and offers a forward-looking, broad, and varied role with numerous ad-hoc responsibilities and analytical tasks.

The Senior FP&A Analyst role is highly visible and supports the Group FP&A Senior Manager in preparing and delivering financial management information and analysis for the Group under GAAP and IFRS 17 standards. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Monitoring financial performance against KPIs
  2. Preparing IFRS 17 narratives
  3. Producing quarterly reports and management information (MI) packs
  4. Communicating management information effectively

The analyst will provide insightful performance reviews, act as a strategic partner across various business areas, assist with consolidating management plans and forecasts, and aid in decision-making and enhancing forecasting capabilities.

This position is ideal for a commercially driven accountant with insurance experience, offering the opportunity to join an organisation with a fantastic track record of staff development.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  2. Experience within the London insurance market (from either practice or industry).

The business provides flexible working, allowing their people to work two to three days a week.
