FP&A Lead

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per annum

Job Overview:

As a key member of our finance team, the FP&A Lead will play a crucial role in steering our financial strategy and performance. This position is ideal for a financial strategist eager to contribute to the growth and transformation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Work closely with business leaders to enhance decision-making processes, improve performance metrics, and identify new avenues for growth.
  • Financial Modelling Expertise: Create advanced financial models to facilitate forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the annual budgeting process, aligning financial goals with business objectives and delivering actionable insights.
  • Trend Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Develop clear and impactful financial narratives through effective reporting, presentations, and visual data representations.
  • Process Improvement: Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance the efficiency of FP&A processes.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • 3-5 years of relevant FP&A experience, preferably in a dynamic, technology-focused environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • A passion for data analysis and the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
