NorikerPower specialise in agile power systems vital for grid stability andflexible energy solutions. As an end to end provider of batterysolutions with over 300MW of advanced battery facilities, we arealways looking to optimise those assets. A key part of this is ourteam of Graduate Energy Traders.

Whoare you?

Youare a graduate in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a relatedfield, or have equivalent real-world experience. You relish theopportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. You will get excitedat the prospect of actively and profitably trading electricity andpower derivatives across markets.

Ontop of this you will:

  • Begenuinely passionate about starting your career in the tradingindustry.

  • Havesome exposure to or knowledge of the UK Power Market

  • Becomfortable with using Excel or programming languages to interpretlarge data-sets.

  • Haveexcellent analytical and quantitative skills with keen attention todetail.

  • Beextremely organised, being able to work in a fast-paced environmentto tight deadlines. 

Whatwill you do?

  • Youllactively trade on the UK power market, making buy and sell decisionsto generate P&L

  • Analysethe UK power market and operation of the national grid balancingactions in real time

  • Helpimplement and test expert advisory and automatic trading software

  • Keepupdated on industry best-practice and developments, as well asregulations and emerging trends in the power market
