ETL Talend Developer

Title: ETL TalendDeveloper

Location: BostonMA/Hybrid (need local with ID proof)

Duration: 6 12 Months with a possibleextension

Local Only from MANH or RI and must have recent experience from theselocations

MinimumRequirements:

Responsibilities

Using the Talend ETL toolset to create new and maintainexisting ETL jobs.

Design and implement ETL forextracting and transforming data from diverse sources such as:Snowflake PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases.

Design and develop database tables necessary along withthe necessary constraints as per the requirement.

Collaborate with Team members to understand source systemstructures and data retrieval methods/techniques and tools withinthe organization.

Support the development ofdata transformation logic using ETL tools or scripting languageslike SQL Bash Python etc.

Clean validate andtransform data to conform to target schema and qualitystandards.

Work with the Team to execute dataquality improvement plans.

Participate introubleshooting activities to maintain data integrity and processefficiency.

Requirements

Fiveyears experience with Talend Data Fabric in a professionalenvironment.

Five years experience working for ahealth data organization performing ETL Developmentactivities.

Three years experience database datawarehouse ETL business intelligence or softwaredevelopment.

Experience in developing projectsusing Talend with Data Integration and Cloud Integration workingwith large datasets.

Highly familiar with TalendData Fabric tool ESB and MDM development tasks and processesparticularly creating ETL from Technical specifications andconverting ETL from other third part ETL tools and otherframeworks.

Experience with cloud technologies(Azure/AWS) and Microsoft DevOps Git Repos.

Experience with Snowflake PostgreSQL and SQL Serverdatabase technologies.

Able to create/modifytables stored procedures functions triggers and other DBobjects.

Ability to work independently in ahybrid work environment.

Working knowledge andunderstanding of HIPAA policies and working with PII and PHIsensitive data.

Effective at managing competingpriorities and can work independently with little or nosupervision.

Excellent communication skills:verbal and written along with excellent documentationskills.

Comfortable working under tightdeadlines while maintaining well organized detailed andprocessoriented work habits.
