Job Description

As Senior Design Engineer your main responsibilities are:

Apply engineering principles to the design and development of components and assemblies, ensuring effective material and manufacturing process selection. Develop designs with considerations for ease of assembly and manufacturability, optimizing the production process. Identify potential risks in design and development and implement strategies to mitigate them. Detect and address engineering problems, finding practical and innovative solutions. Create, evaluate, and apply relevant analysis and testing methods to ensure design effectiveness and reliability. Work closely with the supply chain to ensure alignment with design requirements and manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications / Skills needed

Degree or higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline. Minimum of 4 years in automotive design engineering, with practical, hands-on experience in mechanical engineering. Essential experience with CREO software. Understanding of motorcycle whole vehicle design and knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles. Experience with various materials and manufacturing processes. Previous experience in the motorcycle industry is desirable but not required.
