As a Senior Design Consultant, you will be responsible for applying engineering principles to the design and development of components and assemblies, ensuring effective material and manufacturing process selection.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Develop designs with considerations for ease of assembly and manufacturability, optimizing the production process.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in design and development and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Problem-Solving: Detect and address engineering problems, finding practical and innovative solutions.
  • Analysis and Testing: Create, evaluate, and apply relevant analysis and testing methods to ensure design effectiveness and reliability.
  • Supply Chain Management: Work closely with the supply chain to ensure alignment with design requirements and manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree or higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in automotive design engineering, with practical, hands-on experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Software Skills: Essential experience with CREO software.
  • Design Knowledge: Understanding of motorcycle whole vehicle design and knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
  • Materials and Manufacturing: Experience with various materials and manufacturing processes.
