Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Consultant to join our team at Contechs. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for applying engineering principles to the design and development of components and assemblies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet customer requirements and ensure effective material and manufacturing process selection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the production process and ensure design effectiveness and reliability.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in design and development, and implement strategies to address engineering problems.
  • Work closely with the supply chain to ensure alignment with design requirements and manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Degree or higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years in automotive design engineering, with practical, hands-on experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Essential experience with CREO software.
  • Understanding of motorcycle whole vehicle design and knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
  • Experience with various materials and manufacturing processes.
