Purpose of Position
The Engineering Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. By performing planned maintenance, corrective repairs, and continuous process improvements, installing cutting edge state of the art operating systems where precision and impact converge, you will contribute directly to the organisation’s success. Here’s how:
Key Accountabilities
Operational Excellence: The Engineering Technician operates on shift work, adhering to established processes and safety standards and following GMP guidelines. Your technical expertise will ensure that equipment functions optimally, minimising downtime and maximising productivity. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance - You will provide seamless operations of all equipment and auxiliary systems on-site while meeting the relevant standards and in accordance with the site maintenance processes. You will be required to investigate equipment failures and support activities necessary to improve equipment reliability. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation, (electronic/paper), adhering to safety protocols, and compliance with quality standards are essential. The technician ensures that all records are up to date, supporting a reliable and compliant operation. Environmental Health & Safety: Supporting all environmental and Health & Safety requirements you will safely execute maintenance activities including Permits to Work, Risk Assessment, Incident Reporting, Safe Work Practice, COSHH.Opportunities

Knowledge/Experience
Experience in an Engineering Technician role or equivalent Experience working in GMP environment desirable Have a good understanding of maintenance systems and engineering procedures and systems Pharmaceutical experience desirable, but not essential. Computer literate (email / MS Applications etc.)Qualification Requirements
