About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apex Hotels. As a key member of our Maintenance and Engineering Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out effective maintenance, repair, and preventative work to maintain our high brand standards.
- Work closely with the Maintenance and Engineering Team to deliver exceptional standards.
- Ensure all supplies and services are in good working order.
- Complete regular machinery testing and maintenance.
- Carry out structured PPM (Pre-Preventative Maintenance) to a high standard.
- Maintain all electrical equipment and complete RCD tests quarterly.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who:
- Has experience working in a similar role
- Has good overall knowledge of building regulations
- Can demonstrate good knowledge of working with power tools and hand tools
- Can demonstrate good understanding of building services, including plumbing, carpentry or electrics
- Can demonstrate high level of finish for tiling and grouting
- Is health & safety conscious
- Has the ability to multi-task and provides excellent attention to detail
