About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apex Hotels. As a key member of our Maintenance and Engineering Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out effective maintenance, repair, and preventative work to maintain our high brand standards.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance and Engineering Team to deliver exceptional standards.
  • Ensure all supplies and services are in good working order.
  • Complete regular machinery testing and maintenance.
  • Carry out structured PPM (Pre-Preventative Maintenance) to a high standard.
  • Maintain all electrical equipment and complete RCD tests quarterly.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar role.
  • Good overall knowledge of building regulations.
  • Ability to demonstrate good knowledge of working with power tools and hand tools.
  • Good understanding of building services, including plumbing, carpentry, or electrics.
  • High level of finish for tiling and grouting.
  • Health & Safety conscious.
  • Ability to multi-task and provide excellent attention to detail.
