Role overview

Deliver dynamic and innovative security services for Chelsea Football Club at Cobham Training Ground. This role focuses on people management, compliance, best practices, staff welfare, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role

Oversee physical security to ensure site safety and resilience. Directly manage Duty Security Managers. Ensure control room operations meet required standards. Develop and continuously improve site standard operating and assignment instructions. Ensure standardised practices across Stamford Bridge and Cobham. Conduct monthly H&S talks, scenario tests, and fire drills. Lead internal security investigations and reviews. Compile and report monthly statistics and incidents. Perform site surveys, assessments, compliance audits, and execute action plans. Provide strategic updates on performance and issues. Address noncompliance and improvement points from the control room. Assess team member skills, address performance gaps, and create training plans. Conduct monthly one-to-ones, coach and support the teams development. Oversee officer training and induction processes. Support recruitment drives and manage site vacancies. Lead HR site functions including welfare checks, absence management, and disciplinary actions. Requirements Degree or equivalent level of written communication. Experience in high-footfall locations like stadiums. Knowledge of risk management. SIA Door Supervisor/CCTV Licence. IOSH Certification. Positive attitude with strong leadership and customer service skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and calm under pressure. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Flexibility to work varied hours based on event schedules.

Working arrangements

40 hours per week, the working hours are dependent on requirement and activities on site, with time to be self-managed. 28 Days holiday including Bank holidays.
