Our client is a leading Education ICT solutions provider. The cumulative expertise of our long-established team spans more than seventy-five years' worth of experience in providing consultancy, infrastructure services, network development and upgrades, andmanaged support services to educational establishments throughout the UK. By providing over 700,000 hours of support to over 270,000 users per year, is an established market leader in the technology support sector. Our client is looking for a Trust IT Managerto head up the IT for one of its Multi Academy Trust (MAT) customers. You will be based at the MAT Head Office (usually the lead school) but there will be travel involved to the MAT client sites as

appropriate.

Key Tasks
- As a key member of the MAT Team, you will need to work with Headteachers/Principals/Heads of School and all SLT's to ensure a consistent delivery of the Managed IT Service. You will take overall responsibility for ICT service in the schools.
- Be responsible for the effective operation and management of the ICT network of the Academy Trust.
- Work with all key stakeholders at the academy trust, alongside the Service Delivery and Account Manager(s) of in developing a strategy for whole trust IT strategy
- Be the Academy's resource of expertise in relation to developments in the field of ICT and legislation.
- Line manages lead IT staff within the trust
- Advice senior staff on areas of potential ICT growth/problems. Demonstrate and highlight issues arising from the safe and effective use of specialist equipment/materials.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) technical information at an appropriate level, and in a suitable style, having assessed the audience.
- Advise leadership team on areas of concern

Support Service on academy sites
- Ensure the "SLA for Academy Trusts" is enforced alongside ensuring all contractual KPI's are met to the highest standard
- Ensure, with the support of their Network/Assistant Network Managers, that a consistent ICT support service is delivered to the school/centre. Establish and maintain high quality learning facilities and assist in planning 2/3 their future development. Including:advanced troubleshooting, ensuring a consistent service level, identifying potential network issues and escalating unresolved problems.
