Our centres are divided into different fields based on size and play style such as Sniffing Safari, featuring agility obstacles to unlock the doggy senses and Curiosity Corner with a sensory zone and open spaces to run and play with canine companions. Having secured private equity investment, Bruce’s is poised to take advantage of their lead and expand to create a national group of dog day care nurseries.

We are currently recruiting for a Driver Carer from Chiswick, London for our Bruce’s in Cobham who will love being surrounded by dogs, caring for their safe and healthy transportation to and from day care and provide our customers with outstanding service. You will be also be caring for the dogs in the fields and providing them with an enriching and fun filled day with us

As a Driver Carer you will be the face of the business and provide our customers with outstanding customer service and enrich the lives of our customers and their dogs.

**Key responsibilities**:
Collecting and dropping off the dogs using the Bruce’s doggy buses
Being responsible for the safety of owners house keys/private access instructions
Maintaining a clean, comfortable and hygienic doggy bus (including cleaning the dogs down when it’s muddy)
Supporting the Carers in maintaining our fantastic farmland site.
Supervising and providing mental and physical stimulation for the dogs, including: playing with dogs, supervising dogs swimming in the pools and being attentive to nervous or fearful dogs, engaging in daily dog enrichment.
Monitoring dog behaviour, disengaging unwanted behaviour as well as notifying team and manager
Moving enrichment equipment between fields.
Chatting to clients that may visit the Day Care Centre
Chatting to customers that drop off and pick up their dog from the Day Care Centre.
Delivering the weekly engagement plan by following the brief given by managers. This also requires using your initiative but never at the cost of the dog’s safety or dog to Carer ratio.
Bathing, washing and towelling dogs prior to drop off.
Picking up dog faeces, using poo bags provided.
Cleaning and maintaining the indoor areas, outdoor areas, office, pools and enrichment equipment.
Taking out rubbish.
Cleaning bathrooms/Kitchen areas.
Taking pictures of the dogs in each of the fields using cameras owned by Bruce’s Doggy Day Care, uploading them onto albums in the CRM and tagging the individual dogs in photographs to be sent to customers.

Enjoy dogs company and be comfortable handling dogs
Have at least 2 years driving experience and a clean Full UK manual driving license
Be confident in working as a full time, commercial driver
Be happy working outdoors, in all weather
Can demonstrate that you can deliver great customer service
Be well presented, well spoken with good English and communication skills
Demonstrate that you are reliable and trustworthy
Must be happy to have a DBS and thorough references check
