Job Description:
As a Polish-Speaking Estimator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between the headquarters in Cobham and the manufacturing facilities in Poland. Your fluency in both English and Polish will be essential in ensuring clear and effective correspondence with the Polish-speaking colleagues and suppliers. While experience in the glazing/window industry is preferred, it is not mandatory, as we value the ability to learn and adapt.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact between our Cobham office and our manufacturing team in Poland.
Facilitate communication by interpreting and translating documents, emails, and phone calls between English and Polish.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the production process.
Collaborate with internal teams to relay project requirements and specifications accurately.
Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry and file management.
Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings and manufacturing processes.
Occasionally travel to Poland for on-site visits or meetings (travel expenses covered).
Requirements:
Fluent in both English and Polish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Prior experience in the glazing/window industry is advantageous but not required.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus, though not essential.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
