Ultrasound/Admin Clerk

Job summary
The primary role is in administration of the non-obstetric ultrasound service AQP inline with AQP contract and agreed practice protocols, whilst also providingadministrative support and services to all members of the practice team. Therewill be a three day USS/two day admin split.
Main duties of the job
USS role :
Receive,monitor and record incoming referrals to the service via email or telephone Preparedaily triage sheet and send to sonographer to action Bookappointments by letter/telephone and advise preparation detail Processresult reports following clinics and disseminate as appropriate Enterdata following all clinics into appropriate spreadsheet for billing Answerdedicated service telephone, dealing with all queries Regularlyliaise with sonographers to ensure service requirements are being met images are downloaded, cleaning folders and audits are completed Liaisewith sites to ensure monthly room allocations are booked Preparemonthly rotas Endof month invoicing and reporting to CCG Check/authorisesonographer and room rental invoices Stockcontrol of service consumables Undertakeany other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by themanagement team or the partnersAdmin role:
You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of general support to themultidisciplinary team.
About us
White Cliffs Medical Centre is based in a purpose built building just a short distance from Dover town centre and consists of two partners, four nurses, a nursing associate and two HCAs.
We also have a branch surgery in Shepherdswell, which is a dispensing practice.
We are a busy practice with a hardworking, dedicated and supportive team of reception/admin/dispensary staff, as well as our clinical team. We work closely with our Primary Care Network to deliver high standards of care to our patient population of around 9,700.
We have been rated good by the CQC.

Qualifications
Essential
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Desirable
GCSE Mathematics & English (C or above) AMSPAR Receptionists Qualification NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
