As a Sustainability & Compliance Coordinator at Royal Scotsman and Britannic Explorer, both Belmond Trains, you are part of a team that manages and facilitates the development, implementation, monitoring and improvement of sustainability policies for the assigned business units. In this role, you will be responsible to the Operations Manager and based across both Scotland and London. Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Monthly reporting on EarthCheck system, ensuring accurate data input and meeting auditor requirements.
  • Supporting the team in achieving ambitious sustainability targets.
  • Reporting annual figures in the LVMH Cascade system.
  • Initiating and supporting sustainability initiatives and goals related to energy use, water and waste.
  • Researching and implementing new recycling and energy-saving programs to advance sustainability policies.
  • The Company may require you to work at another location on a permanent or temporary basis, at its reasonable discretion, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
  • Relevant management or field/industry related diploma or degree.
  • A diploma or relevant certificate from a recognised tertiary educational institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational and administrative skills.
  • This role will be required to travel.
  • The Company may require you to work at another location on a permanent or temporary basis, at its reasonable discretion, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
