Tasks

Inthe role of the Field Service Engineer MedicalDevices:

  • As the FieldService Engineer your key objective will be to perform productinstallation maintenance troubleshooting repairs and validation formy clients marketleading surgical tables lights pendants andrelated products
  • You will proactively solvecustomer problems ensure maximum availability and functionality ofproducts
  • Escalate and resolve issues regardingcustomer complaints exceeding deadlines and other criticaloccurrences
  • Carry out routinetesting/validation on the above equipment to the relevant standardsas stated in terms the and conditions of the clientscontract
Requirements

Therequirements of the Field Service Engineer MedicalDevices:

  • Circa 12 yearsexperience in a similar Field Service Engineer/Field ServiceTechnician role already in the Medical Devices/Healthcareindustries with experience servicing repairing and performing PMson NHS/Hospital equipment such as Operating Tables Surgical LightsPendants Anaesthesia Machines Endoscopy Washers Ventilators orsimilar Surgical/Medical equipment
  • Educatedwith a degree or similar formal qualification such as an NVQ BTECHND City & Guilds etc in a discipline such as ElectronicEngineering Electronic / Electrical Industrial InstrumentationMechatronics or Biomedical Engineering
  • Willingto travel predominately in the Republic of Ireland occasionally inNorthern Ireland and the UK when required but its mostly Dublinregion (circa 80% of the time)
  • Basic knowledgeof Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Visio and CRMapplications is required
  • Have a strong customerfocus with good attention to detail
  • Ability towork as part of a team to provide effective an efficient customerservice
  • Strong electrical and mechanicalfaultfinding skills
  • Full Irish driving licencerequired (preferably clean)
  • Excellent verbaland written Englishskills
