About the role

In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with business analysts, change managers, and teams across faculties and departments to design and deliver strategic programmes that drive real impact. Your expertise will ensure our programmes are structured effectively and aligned with UCL’s bold vision and long-term objectives.

As a Programme Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in challenging how we manage programmes, helping senior leaders make informed decisions about resources and budgets, and overseeing the successful execution of outcome-driven plans. You’ll also be responsible for utilising systems that manage interdependencies between programmes, fostering seamless collaboration across the university.

This is a unique opportunity to shape UCL's future while contributing to best practices in Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management (PPM).

About you

We seek seasoned Programme Managers with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, full-lifecycle programmes and projects within complex organisations. You will excel at navigating diverse environments and deeply understand the methodologies, principles, and tools that drive successful programme and project management.

You’ll be adept at developing comprehensive programme plans, ensuring meticulous planning and prioritisation to keep programmes on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals.

You must be comfortable engaging with senior leadership, providing insightful challenges and consistent programme information that enables effective decision-making. With a keen eye for detail, you’ll also be skilled at advising on initiative-level benefits forecasts and shaping benefits management strategies.
