Year 2 TeacherResponsibilities

  • Planand deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet therequirements of the Year 2curriculum
  • Foster anurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encouragesstudents social and emotionaldevelopment
  • Provideindividualized support to students based on their unique needs andabilities
  • Collaboratewith other educators and professionals to develop and implementeffective teachingstrategies
  • Assess andmonitor students progress providing regular feedback to studentsparents and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of students achievements andbehaviour
  • Communicateeffectively with students parents and colleagues ensuring a strongpartnership between home andschool

Year 2 Teacherrequirements:

  • QTS EYTSPGCE and strong academic record
  • Bachelorsdegree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage(Year 2) or equivalent
  • Indepth knowledge andunderstanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessmentframeworks
  • Ability tocreate a positive and engaging learning environment for youngchildren
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to buildstrong relationships with students parents andcolleagues
  • Strongorganizational and timemanagement skills with the ability toeffectively plan and deliverlessons
  • A passion foreducation and a commitment to supporting students learning anddevelopment
  • Flexibilityand adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school andstudents
