We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dynamic teams.

 

The Role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering planned learning activities to groups or whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
  • Assisting in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
  • Supporting individual pupils or small groups to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Assisting with the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a positive and effective learning environment.
  • Providing pastoral care and support to pupils as needed.

Requirements:

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of the school.
