Job description

Fixed-Term Contract: 14 August – 03 November 2023

We are seeking a Senior Volunteers Coordinator to join our Festivals team for the 67th BFI London Film Festival.

Volunteers are an essential and valued part of the festival team and BFI London Film Festival would not be possible without the support of our volunteers, who generously dedicate their time and commitment.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Volunteers Coordinator will lead on all aspects of administration and organisation of volunteer resource at the festival and is responsible for recruiting, scheduling, training, supervising and supporting the festival volunteers

Experience & Skills

Significant demonstrable experience of working with volunteers within a festival or events environment Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to manage and meet deadlines. Ability to build effective relationships with key contacts across BFI and stakeholder organisations, and to communicate effectively and tactfully with stakeholders at all levels.
