Key Responsibilities:
Strategic project responsibility and associated resource to deliver value for our group transport sector and customers. Leadership of multifunctional teams and stakeholders. Analysis and interpretate data, to design robust, fit for purpose operating solutions. Working collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders to develop project plans for business implementation and change management activities. Budget management and recovery of project assigned resources. Supports project plan delivery through taking ownership of actions and coordinating activities. Supports due diligence activities working with internal and external stakeholders to understand capture processes and activities over identified timelines. Risk planning and strategy to mitigate business and project risks. Ensure the operational workstream deliverables are managed to time, cost and quality. Creation and support of customer presentations, along with data collation to support shaping of customer proposals. Create and manage new operations training and procurement requirements. Develop standardised approaches to ensure best practice approach to projects and operations for new and existing business, supporting operations through systems and training.Hybrid opportunity – requires travel.
What will you bring to our team?
Multi sector and diverse experience as a transport operator, with experience of closed/open book activity (Transport CPC National and International preferred). Strategic mindset with cross functional business consideration and excellent stakeholder management experience. Proven skills in numerical and analytical ways of working, showcasing elimination of risk within project working. Possess a high level of drive and energy and an overriding commitment to succeed. Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform to tight deadlines, whilst being able to balance key priorities. Budgetary experience for planning and control of financial expenditure. Previous planning experience with paragon or similar systems preferred. Project/Continuous Improvement management experience and/or qualification preferred.Our Culture and Benefits:
