KEY PURPOSE

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator in the UK. In this role, you will assist project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects across different industries.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist project managers in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Help to create project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Assist in the coordination of project activities and meetings.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to project team members.
- Help to manage project risks and issues, and escalate them when necessary.
- Help to maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project plans.
- Assist in the preparation of project-related presentations and reports.
- Assist project managers tracking and reporting finance performance and invoice management.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
Financials
- Awareness of and adherence to the project budget, raising flags for potential slippage early
- On time delivery of data for internal processes such as month end, utilisation and billing deadlines

Customers
- Exceptional relationship building, demonstrating empathy and trust while maintaining a strong professional relationship.
- Ensure project governance is followed to capture and bill for all change during the lifecycle of the project

Projects
- Keep up to date the project governance documentation including project control logs, JIRA, project plans and other relevant systems
- Complete regular internal and external progress reports
- Detailed and on time billing for services

Team
- Builds strong cross functional team relationships

TO BE ELIGIBILE YOU NEED
- Educated to degree level or equivalent would be beneficial but not a deal breaker. We would like to see a proven familiarity with Prince methodologies and SCRUM/Agile working
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A broad knowledge of the public transport industry would be a bonus
- Previous experience in a project coordination or project management, preferably within the software or public transport sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA or Trello is a plus.
- Willing to travel domestically to occasionally meet with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
