About us

We are a friendly, large GP Practice, wishing to recruit a Care Navigator, who is efficient, well-organised, enthusiastic and who has experience of working in a customer facing environment and able to delivery first class customer service to our role is fast-paced and varied. We have 4 GP Partners, 2 salaried GPs, 1 Advanced Clinical Practitioner, 4 Nurses, 10 Care Navigators, 2 Secretaries, two Managers and a Medicines Co-Ordinator plus other various administrators and ARRS staff

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

Essential: GCSE Grade A C in the following subjects Maths English Extensive IT knowledge and skills NVQ or essential IT skills diploma (or equivalent)

Desirable

Qualified to NVQ level 2/3

Experience

Essential

Essential: Previous reception experience (preferably within the NHS) Previous experience in a customer facing role Previous computer/IT knowledge and comprehensive use of packages Must have previous Customer Service experience to a high standard Excellent general knowledge Good verbal and written communication skills Able to adhere to practice policies and procedures Ability to multi task Work well under pressure Remain and calm and understanding at all times Pay exceptional attention to detail Team player Commitment to the role

Desirable

Desirable: Previous experience working in an NHS setting Experience of working in a GP Practice Extensive reception experience Forward planner Patient complaint resolution experience Previous use of EMIS, Docman and AccuRx
