Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (tACP) role in the Emergency Department at the RUH. We are looking for an experienced professional from a paramedic, nurse, pharmacist or physiotherapy background who is ready to take this next step in their career.

The successful candidate will be committed to completing their MSc in Advanced Practice and working towards credentialing with the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM). The ED team at the RUH has an expanding ACP team, led by a Consultant Nurse, who is a dual (adult & paediatric) RCEM credentialed ACP. You will be allocated a Consultant educational supervisor, who will support your development and training, as well as support from the ACP team. You will have protected non clinical time and band 8a will be awarded on meeting the achieved standard in the ED. The ED has a strong focus on education and training, and a bespoke ED ACP faculty of consultants and senior ACP's who monitor progress, training and development of our ACP team.
