We are currently seeking two Advanced Practitioners to join our Adult Learning Disability and Autism Service, with positions available in Yeovil and Shepton Mallet. Our service is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to adults with learning disabilities and autism, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives within their communities. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supervising social workers, providing expert advice and guidance on duty, managing duty desk operations, and overseeing waiting lists. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervise and support social workers within the Adult Learning Disability and Autism Service. Offer ad hoc advice and guidance on duty-related matters to ensure effective decision-making and service delivery. Manage duty desk operations, including triaging cases and allocating resources efficiently. Monitor and manage waiting lists to ensure timely access to services for individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Utilise high-level social work knowledge and expertise in the field of learning disabilities and autism to provide productive and effective guidance and supervision. Requirements: Professional social work qualification. Registration with the Social Work England (SWE). Previous experience and in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in the field of learning disabilities and autism.
