Your Impact and Responsibilities…

As a Warehouse Planner, your meticulous planning and coordination will ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse, directly affecting store service levels and budget control. Your role is crucial in driving process improvements and supporting both local and international teams. By managing training needs, attending finance meetings, and utilising data for forward planning, you'll contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our distribution network.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate weekly plans and expectations to shifts
  • Align daily and weekly workload planning with store service and budget goals
  • Coordinate training for new starters and upskill existing staff
  • Liaise with agency providers regarding training requirements
  • Attend weekly finance meetings to discuss expenditure
  • Identify and drive operational and functional process improvements
  • Support site projects and use historic data for trend analysis and forward planning
  • Collaborate with international teams in Spain and Poland to synchronise with UK store planning
  • Utilise labour efficiency tools to enhance site performance
  • Manage databases and ensure site has adequate MHE throughout the year
  • Extract data using site WMS software
  • Work alongside counterparts at other sites to ensure network compliance
  • Step in for the Warehouse Operations Manager as needed
Skills and Knowledge…
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Proficiency in ICT, particularly Excel
  • Strong presentation-building abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong numerical aptitude
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Experience in building and maintaining databases
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software
