**The role**:
Supporting the growth of the Clarins Skincare business, this role specifically focusses on demand and supply planning for Ecom promotions. Working closely with the wider Supply Chain and Digital teams, this role will optimise inventory investment, advise on production requirements, and pro-actively communicate business intelligence in order to achieve relevant customer service goals.

**What you’ll do**:

- Regularly review and manage inventory levels and product availability, aligning with Group guidelines and targets. Create local parameters to meet both current and future stock requirements.
- Collaborate with the Demand and Supply Planner to analyse demand forecast accuracy and sales trends for promotional lines. Swiftly identify and address any issues.
- Track key KPIs including fill rate/service level, forecast accuracy, and stock coverage. Drive ad-hoc analysis on stock performance and monitor overall performance.
- Advise on adjustments to the replenishment plan, defining priorities and necessary actions in cases of shortage or overstock.
- Identify potential risks to customer service and work with cross-functional teams to quantify and mitigate impact. Play a key role in managing fair share situations with the Customer Services Manager.
- Recommend actions for safety stock adjustments, manage dead stock depreciation, and propose transfers. Ensure system updates are accurate and timely.
- Communication: Ensure detailed follow-up on replenishment plans for regular products, launches, promotions, discontinued stock, and bespoke activities. Communicate inventory reliability to key stakeholders in Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales at both local and global levels.
- Track stock shipments to ensure on-time delivery to warehouses and customers. Analyse KPI data to monitor performance against agreed lead times.
- Work closely with the Supply and Demand Planning team on product and stock issues. Collaborate with distribution on corrective actions for faulty products and manage the credit process.
- Prepare and defend inventory review proposals at regular meetings with key stakeholders. Support the Supply and Demand Planning Manager in implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and proactively propose the development of automated systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency in demand planning activities.

**You are**:

- Highly organised with strong time-management and attention to detail.
- Proficient in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Confident in negotiating, decision making and presentation skills.

**You have**:

- APICS or other forecasting certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ in the industry or similar setting with end to end supply chain understanding
- Knowledge of SAP/APO/M3/DMP/JDE, Manugistics or Oracle Demand Planning or other software packages including Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel.
- Proven capability to analyse and synthesise data.
