An independent and multi-award winning brand and digital agency are looking for an experienced and charismatic Design Director to join their team.

The facts:
This is a really successful and established agency. As they have grown it’s become clear they need a Design Director to work closely with the Creative Director to run projects on a day to basis and oversee and mentor the design team.

You’re a ‘hands on’ skilled designer able to develop brands from scratch and execute across digital, film, motion, animation, illustration and more. You can set the bar high for creative design work across the agency, but you don’t want to be the only one hitting it; you’re a leader that teaches, challenges, and nurtures the designers around you to become the best versions of themselves.

You enjoy meeting and working with your clients and want to be their trusty advisor, translating complex subject matter into bold thinking, ideas and decisions that hit every mark.

It’s culturally a great place to work and a brilliant opportunity to collaborate with talented individuals in a flourishing agency.

You’ll be:
  • Working closely with the CD, leading on projects and campaigns.
  • Hands on with the tools, design, and strategy while also curating the team members work to bring everyone’s best designs to light.
  • Driving yourself and others to be constantly developing and innovating within the agency.

You’ll have:
  • 8+ years of experience in branding agencies, preferable B2B, tech, and corporate focused.
  • Previous experience managing a team.
  • Passion for creativity through and through – you know all the trends, and constantly want to improve your work.
