Job Overview
-The role is commercially focused, supporting contract and operations managers. The key to being successful in this role is adding value – working with operational teams to ensure pricing models accurately reflect what we are charging our clients and also ensuring our systems hold that information in order to leverage Power BI and automate month end processes, good close working relationship with the client and operational and commercial teams, providing commercial and financial input where required. Assist with detailed rolling forecast and annual budget, ready for presentation to senior management. Assist with monthly payment applications with detailed analysis on variance to GMP, ensuring these are reviewed with Account directors before presentation to client. Action plans for overspends must be prepped with operations and FBPAct as Soft Services deputy for Business Services FBP, Review contract profitability, highlighting high and low variances to client budget for discussion with relevant operational/commercial managers.
Main Duties
Assist with the timely and accurate completion of the Heathrow contracts to ensure integrity, accuracy, consistency and providing clear visibility of the financial health of these contracts, ensure the accurate accounting on accrued and deferred income on a monthly basis, partnering with the business leads and Account directors / managers to help FBP prepare full annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the trading and profitability of Heathrow. Close working relationship with OTC teams to ensure accurate and timely billing, efficient payroll reporting and driving improvements in the working capital, detailed financial analysis and presentation of financial information to support decision making, develop and report KPI's relevant to Heathrow, help manage Heathrow GMPs, ensure these are up to date and all monthly reporting is current. Help manage monthly costs versus GMP and maintain clear and precise historical data Responsible for all adhoc finance requests from Heathrow, to be delivered in timely manner Attended weekly operations meetings at Heathrow as required Building process workflows to ensure strong controls around revenue recognition. Act as the link between operations and central finance functions to drive improvements and accuracy. Be a key driver and facilitator for implementing new processes for revenue accruals and evidence the approach to external auditors

Finance qualifications preferential, the ability to sit in front of a key client and talk about our mix of service lines, good communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial individuals. High level of integrity with a commitment to embedding a strong governance culture. Previous business partnering experience within the retail industry and knowledge of the sales pipeline/bid process would be advantageous and be able to produce concise and informative reporting under tight deadlines. Mandatory 1 day per fortnight in Northampton office.
