Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join our team at Page Personnel Finance.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing invoices and expenses within the accounting and finance department. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company in the travel industry, employing over 10,000 people.
Key Responsibilities- Process and manage all invoices and expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of all payable accounts.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Provide support to the wider accounting and finance team.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures in relation to accounts payable.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.
- A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of SAP beneficial but not necessary.
- A competitive salary around £33,000.
