The post holder will be an excellent communicator who is familiar with a full range of clerical tasks and be able to undertake specific duties when necessary. Experience of working in a busy office environment and a good standard of typing and IT skills are essential.

You will be required to work using your own initiative with the ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently. You must be able to communicate well and have an adaptable and flexible attitude to your work.

Main duties of the job

To provide and organise a comprehensive high level, efficient, accurate and prompt administrative service to the Community Nursing Team and assist in the smooth running of the service. The post holder deals with highly sensitive and confidential issues relating to issues affecting the clients and their families.

As a member of the Administration Team, a flexible approach to the post is essential to enable prioritising the different workloads and duties.

Attaching documentation to electronic patient records.

Data inputting and running reports as directed by clinical leads for monthly audits required by the service.

Sorting of incoming mail and distributing to addressed department/individual.

Photocopying/scanning and sending information in accordance with information Governance guidelines

Stock and equipment ordering via Integra and other appropriate systems
