Pathway Administrator/outpatient Booker

The post holder will need to check patient details against a range of data sets to ensure a high level of data quality. Attention to detail is crucial. To contribute to the provision of a quality outpatient appointment service and the effective delivery of patient care. Ensure all outpatient clinics are fully utilised and cancelled slots filled effectively.

Accessing case notes as necessary. To maintain good communication channel and excellent customer service to patients, clinicians, GP surgeries and colleagues within your team and in other departments. Data quality check the outcomes of clinic annotations altering PAS to reflect the relevant clinical notes. Monitor follow-up appointments as required in line with Trust Access Policy.

Ensure patient notes are maintained in accordance with the Trusts Case Note Management Policy and all correspondence, reports and results are filed correctly and in a timely manner. Keeping up to date with patient filing/scanning/post. Supporting the clerical officer, apprenticeships, or new members of staff, providing guidance and training as required.
