An exciting opportunity for an eRostering Systems Implementor has arisen within NHS Fife. You will provide the eRostering team with an effective systems support service in the implementation and operation of electronic rostering systems for all staff across NHS Fife. They will support the accurate transfer of data between HealthRoster and other systems pending the development of interfaces, and thereafter support ongoing accuracy of the eRostering solution, in particular in relation to safestaffing. The implementor will also support the resolution of routine queries from users of electronic rostering and supplementary staffing systems and provide assistance and advice on their use and maintain the quality and content of data held within eRostering systems.
The officer will support users with challenges or problems which may arise within delivery and be customer focussed in their support, working closely with colleagues across Fife to ensure fairness and equality in roster production.
NHS Fife is ambitious in developing its Digital and Information Strategy 2019-2024 to support organisational change and modernise service delivery for the benefit of staff, patients, carers and the public and the e-Rostering Programme is fundamental to this aim, therefore this post will act as a key advocate of this agenda.
You must be able to travel throughout Fife on occasion and sometimes across Scotland as required.
NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
