Oracle Functional Consultant

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. Business RequirementsAnalysis:

    • Collaborate withbusiness stakeholders to gather and analyzerequirements.
    • Translate business requirementsinto functional specifications for Oracle applications.

  2. Oracle ModuleConfiguration:

    • ConfigureOracle modules to meet business needs ensuring alignment withindustry best practices.
    • Perform functionaltesting and validation of configured modules.

  3. ProcessImprovement:

    • Identifyopportunities for process improvement and optimization using Oracleapplications.
    • Design and implement newbusiness processes to enhance operational efficiency.

  4. Training andSupport:

    • Provide trainingand support to endusers on Oracle functionalities.
    • Develop training materials and user guides.

  5. Documentationand Reporting:

    • Maintaincomprehensive documentation including functional specificationstest plans and process maps.
    • Generate reportsand provide insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree inBusiness Administration Information Technology or a relatedfield.
  • Experience: 7 yearsof experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant.
  • Skills:
    • Strongknowledge of Oracle modules (e.g. Financials SCM HCM).
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolvingskills.
    • Strong understanding of businessprocesses and best practices.
    • Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a remote teamenvironment.
  • Certifications: Oracle certificationis a plus.
Oracle Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Design andDevelopment:

    • Developtechnical specifications based on functionalrequirements.
    • Design and implementcustomizations extensions and integrations for Oracleapplications.

  2. System Integration:

    • Work on integrating Oracle applications withother systems and thirdparty applications.
    • Develop and manage integration strategies andplans.

  3. Technical Support:

    • Provide technical support for Oracle applicationstroubleshooting and resolving issues.
    • Performregular system updates patches and upgrades.

  4. PerformanceTuning:

    • Optimize theperformance of Oracle applications and databases.
    • Conduct performance tuning and systemmonitoring.

  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain comprehensive technical documentationincluding design specifications user manuals and testplans.
    • Generate technical reports and provideinsights to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degreein Computer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
  • Experience: 7 yearsof experience as an Oracle Technical Consultant.
  • Skills:
    • Strongknowledge of Oracle development tools and technologies (e.g. PL/SQLOracle Forms Oracle Reports Oracle ADF).
    • Proficiency in integrating Oracle applications with othersystems.
    • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills.
    • Strong understanding ofsystem architecture and design.
