GP Partner/Salaried GP

4-7 sessions available (flexible for the ideal candidate)

We are looking for enthusiastic GPs, who are keen to work in a supportive, dedicated team that embraces change for the benefit of our staff & our 12,000 patients.

One partner is Clinical Director for our PCN and two GP's are LMC reps. Partners & salaried GPs are encouraged to develop areas of clinical interest & we have an excellent reputation for training. (GP/pharmacists/PN/medical students) We welcome all ideas and aspirations & are keen to work with colleagues at all stages of their career.

Main duties of the job

We work to BMA guidance with25 patient appointments per day.

We value and aim forcontinuity of care for benefit of both patients and clinicians but do notoperate personal lists to accommodate the practicalities of modern GeneralPractice.

7 weeks annual leave for partners/6 weeks for salaried posts.

In house mentorship for newlyqualified and returning GPs

Primary care visiting service(paramedics), so GP visits infrequent and mostly palliative care.

Growing MDT; all the usual plusclinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, ANP and physicians associate, physiotherapist,adult and child MIND Wellbeing workers, care co-ordinator & social prescribers

We have 3 dedicated carehomes with opportunity to be involved in ward rounds if desired.

Opendoor policy & informal catch ups overcoffee/lunch. Weekly PHCT meetings.Strong culture of shared learning & personal development. Practice Social WhatsApp group for funoutings.

Workflow optimisation by datateam, reduced admin for GPs.

Registered with the RCGPGreen Impact for Health.

Parkrun practice

Close links with HortonGeneral Hospital, across the road from us.

Job responsibilities

Theduties of the post holder are to provide a full range of general medicalservices as contained within the National Health Service (Primary Care) Act1997 and which will include home visits as appropriate.

Asa salaried GP at Hightown Surgery you would be expected to support the partnersin providing all Primary Medical Services in line with contractual andregulatory frameworks.

Wewould expect that you keep good clinical records on Emisweb using clinicaltemplates and protocols at all times.
